This is the expansion and renovation of the most iconic casino in Montevideo, integrating contemporary and elegant design with the architectural style of one of the most emblematic hotels in the city. The intervention covered a total area of ​​2,400 m2, renovating and expanding the gaming and service areas to offer a sophisticated and updated experience to users as a large entertainment area.

On the ground floor, the main entrance was completely renovated with an elegant and contemporary aesthetic design that harmoniously dialogues with the classic style of the building. This new entrance invites users to enter a space that combines modernity and tradition. In addition, the slots room was expanded by 400 m2, achieving a more functional and comfortable layout for players. The configuration of the space incorporates design elements that optimize circulation and reinforce the new contemporary identity of the place.

On the upper floor, a complete reconfiguration of the layout of the main gaming room was carried out, unique in its kind within Casinos del Uruguay and an emblem of the gaming tradition in the country. As part of this transformation, a new access to the hotel was implemented, improving internal connectivity and the user experience, as well as the image of the casino. The interior decoration was renovated with the incorporation of elegant fabric and metallic curtains in gold and blue tones, generating a contrast between cold and warm colors that provide sophistication and warmth to the environment. Color blocks were used to delimit prominent areas such as the horse riding area, the bar and the entertainment area, reinforcing the identity of each sector. Finally, a versatile lighting system was installed that allows for the creation of an intimate atmosphere without compromising the intensity required for gaming activities.

The sinuosity that is accentuated by the lighting on the ground floor is materialized and strengthened on the upper floor by a line of golden chains that runs along the ceiling, becoming the true protagonist of the design, due to its dynamism and sensuality.

We phased the work in such a way that, even with the removal of escalators and the execution of slabs, the casino continued to operate throughout the process. Agile responses adapted to the needs of the client.

The main concept of the project was to maintain the iconic character of the casino while modernizing the spaces to meet the expectations of current users. A combination of tradition, elegance and contemporary design was achieved through the selection of materials and colors.

The renovated spaces offer functionality, aesthetics and comfort, guaranteeing visitor satisfaction and reaffirming the importance of entertainment in the urban and cultural landscape of the city.
